Location
Lurin sits on the hillside between Gustavia and Gouverneur Beach. The higher you go, the better the views. Most villas look west over the water toward the sunset. You're 5 minutes from Gustavia's harbor and restaurants, 5 minutes to Gouverneur Beach.
The area is residential and quiet. No beach clubs or restaurants right in the neighborhood, but everything is close.
Views and Privacy
Villas in Lurin tend to have good ocean views without being right on the water. The hillside location gives you elevation and privacy. Properties are spread out, so you're not looking into your neighbor's pool.
Sunsets here are excellent. You're facing west with clear views to the horizon.
Nearby Beaches
Gouverneur Beach is the closest, about 5 minutes down the hill. It's a wide stretch of sand with good swimming and relatively few people. No beach clubs or facilities, which keeps it quieter.
Shell Beach in Gustavia is 5 minutes the other direction. Smaller, with a restaurant and bar right on the sand.
Restaurants and Shopping
You'll head to Gustavia for restaurants, which is easy from Lurin. The drive takes 5 minutes. Shops, cafes, and the harbor are all there.
Getting Around
Lurin is 10 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes to Gustavia, 5 minutes to Gouverneur, and 15 minutes to St. Jean. The roads wind through the hills but they're paved and well-maintained. You'll need a car.
