Relaxed, modern, and organic in style, the luxury rental property evokes that same serenity, effortlessness, and warmth of a day by the seashore. The materials are natural, textured, and sumptuous, such as the ipe wood decks outside, the luxuriously soft linens on the beds, and even the beautifully marbled wood of the cutting boards in the kitchen. Staying in Villa Les Palmiers evokes a carefree spirit, but the vacation home’s owners took utmost care in creating it, paying special attention to beautiful art and found natural objects. The color palette is soothingly neutral, and clutter is absent. The decoration runs toward the lines of straw hats and beach bags hanging on a wall, and small plants provide pops of green on the shelves. Nothing feels unnecessary. A hammock demarcates the subtle boundary between indoor and outdoor space, and becomes a focal point of the living area. The kitchen is pretty and functional, and has been outfitted with a pass-through counter with barstools, a farmhouse dining table, and a Lacanche range that’s perfect for cooking fresh fish from the local market.
